Issy Sauce was born in 1968 in a private household in New York, where Isreal “Issy” Johnson created a flavor that would become a family legacy. What started in his home kitchen quickly became a staple at family gatherings, cookouts, and celebrations.
In 2002, the sauce made its official restaurant debut at Pop’s Family Restaurant, marking the beginning of its public journey. From there, Issy Sauce expanded to The Jasmine Supper Club in Myrtle Beach, bringing its bold, soulful flavor to the South Carolina coast.
The legacy continued at The Kim Waters Jazz tones Café in Georgia, where Issy Sauce paired beautifully with live music, culture, and elevated dining.
Today, Issy Sauce is currently being featured and tested at Northeast Veterans Group, serving as its present-day culinary home and innovation ground.
